I am a VFX Supervisor and Creative Director focused on communication in digital experiences. I have worked with a variety of clients including Epic Games, Warner Brothers, Salesforce, Apple, and the USGS using real-time and procedural methods to benefit creative products. I have also consulted for companies such as Integral Consulting, Metromile, and Spatial Canvas working on product strategy. I am currently the Director of VFX for Striking Distance Studios helping define and create AAAA visual effects for The Calisto Protocol.
My unique outlook on design and management derives from my work in the film, product, and game industries During my career in Visual Effects I accumulated 35 feature film credits, including contributions for several Oscar-winning projects. I developed a deep appreciation for the audience, and have shared my experiences through articles and lectures underscoring the value storytelling through design and engineering.
In my off time, I am a father of two girls helping them explore our world in search of adventure. I am also an avid believer in food tours, discovering how history can be revealed by what we eat and drink.
